I remember, when I was in my 8th grade I asked my Mom for 70k to start a bakery business, I already knew what would the business grow to be like in a small town of south India. I had done my calculations, covinced my sister to join me and one of my uncle to help me establish it, but my Mom laughed it off. A few years later and in my early teens when we bought a new Maruti 800 we were just too excited about the entire idea of going on a long 3 hour drive to Vizag which was already big and growing with so much potential, It was beautiful surrounded by mountains on one side and beach on the east..it had navy official quarters and port, it was all booming compared to the town I came from! It was a surprise visit to see my Dad who was working there, we went on to see the Rushi konda.. it was breathtaking for me. After a long days going about we sat down in a small cafe having cakes with the beach to my back and a small mountain view in front of me..I asked my dad who was sipping his tea and all excited to be spending his weekend with us, I questioned ' Cant we buy the mountain? how much would it cost us?' and I am sure my Dad thought I was nuts! 'buy a mountain..? well, it would cost maybe 25 pence' he said with a sarcastic smile , and almost 12 years later one of the industrialist bought it and started building a film studio!
I now strongly believe that its just not being educated... its just not the degree that counts, its the long term goal and vision. To believe in yourself when people laugh at you. Its working on what you believe and have the last laugh! I was too naive to realize my potential and look further, I have learnt my lessons and I dont consider it being too late. I am happy and I shall be.
